7. A school shooting was prevented in Pike County when the killer confided in a friend at school that he had killed his brother and that student reported it before anything further could happen.

6. The Madison County NAACP is actually protesting the “Madison City Street Festival” because a group that opposes smut in libraries and a gun vendor will be present. The gun vendor already pulled out and closed completely but the “Moms for Liberty” will have a booth. However, the people who disagree with them will have to understand that freedom exists.

5. For some reason, Matthew Layne, president of the Alabama Library Association, has no idea what Gov. Kay Ivey or anyone else is talking about when it comes to “sexual explicit.” Layne also implies that “no sexually explicit material has ever been on display in any Alabama library’s children’s department” but this is obviously untrue

4. Former President Donald Trump has endorsed U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) for Speaker of the House; he also supported former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and opposed his removal from that position. Trump was never going to be Speaker of the House and anyone floating that absolutely knew better.

3. President Joe Biden isn’t happy about the wall after all, saying they don’t work, and claims he has no choice but to build a wall he does not want. Comically, his spokesperson claims that the Biden administration believes in the rule of law, which is obviously untrue.

2. While Biden dithers, Ivey sends 275 Alabamians to the southern border. Ivey tweeted, “Every state has become a border state under the current policies, and Alabama remains committed to being an integral part of the mission to protect our Southern Border.”

1. Democrats are psyched about the new map that basically hands them a congressional seat and a precedent. Hilariously, someone who doesn’t live in the Second District Congress created now wants to run for that seat.
