There is probably no one who was better positioned to take advantage of the Republicans’ rise to power in Alabama than Swatek.

His résumé includes senior positions on gubernatorial, congressional and even presidential campaigns within the state. He was in the small circle of strategists who crafted the GOP’s successful plan to seize control of the legislature in 2010. He then immediately moved to capitalize on the success by launching a full-service governmental affairs shop with three of the state’s other top Republican consultants.

Since launching SAHR, Swatek has managed to grow his lobbying portfolio while maintaining his status as one of the top political strategists in the state — both when it comes to governmental affairs and political campaigns. He serves as a bridge to the upper echelons of the Alabama business community for many of his political clients. On the lobbying side, he represents heavyweights like HealthSouth, HOAR Construction and the Alabama Road Builders Association. He’s also one of Alabama Power’s most trusted political consultants.

Swatek has assembled a team at SAHR that looks like its built to last.
