Don’t sweat – that map is the “feels like” temperature.

The National Weather Service has advised the heat index might break the 100-degree barrier across parts of Alabama tomorrow. An excessive heat warning is in effect.

Extreme heat will begin to build into the region today. Higher heat indices will focus across the western half of the area where values will range from 105-110 degrees. There's also a small chance of a few strong storms across the northern third of the area this afternoon. #alwx pic.twitter.com/ooLAiuHcZv
